A LITTLE CEREMONY

The method.

  1. Prepare your glass

Chill a clean wine glass in the refrigerator. Keep both the wine and cassis cold; this drink is served without ice.

  2. Measure into the glass

Measure the crème de cassis into the chilled glass for one serving, then add the measured dry white wine.

  3. Finish gently

Stir once gently to combine without warming the wine.

  4. The finishing touch

Serve immediately. This house specification has no garnish.
