Simple syrup (1:1)10 ml
Fresh mint8 leaves
Mint sprig1

The method.

Gently press the mint
Place the measured mint leaves and syrup in the cup. Press gently 3 times; do not shred.
Add bourbon and ice
Add the measured bourbon and 180 g crushed ice. Stir gently until the outside of the cup feels cold.
Crown the cup
Add another 40 g crushed ice to form a small mound. Clap the mint sprig once between your palms and place it beside the straw.
